With aviation security being an integrated part of the modern travel environment, we are tirelessly working to ensure the highest standard of work in our projects.
Our executives have many years of experience in the aviation industry, having worked in over 60 countries worldwide. Many of our employees and directors are ICAO and/or IATA certified.
We specialize in the design and auditing of aviation security systems, followed by process and procedure, on which we offer both training and enforcement.
On the operational and legislative end of things, we conduct risk assessments, followed by realistic and achievable recommendations, which will help pass ICAO and TSA audits, as well as improve the overall security environment at a client airport.
We offer assistance in the development of Airport Security Plans (ASP), National Civil Aviation Security Programmes (NCASP), etc, having a vast amount experience in doing so, world wide.
We also help resolve legislative issues, and offer advice on proper legal terminology and wording.
When we set up operations, we have a lot of our own, unique equipment, so we can deliver results quickly – we specialize in unique trace detection, as an example, which provides tangible success, and we have unique software, assisting X-Ray operators in finding prohibited items, with a processing speed of 6 seconds per bag, attached to existing equipment. We set up drone jamming equipment, of our own make – our system is tellingly called the “Crystal Dome”, and our goal is to offer a secure environment not only in and around an airport, but also above it.
If incidents of any sort occur at an airport, we offer post event analysis, with detailed reports and an action plan, in order to prevent such matters from occurring again.
On the training end of things, some of the AVSEC activities offered are:
Red Team training
Specialty training for airport penetration, and analysis of lessons learned from having a red team infiltrate an airport, or pass through security carrying weapons, prohibited items, etc.
X-ray Operator training
We put a lot of stock into small things, such as limited attention spans, proper rotations techniques, working with Threat Image Projection systems, etc.
K9 Handling
Our K9 experts have decades of experience with training and breeding dogs – we offer complete turnkey solutions, including building a kennel.
Train the Trainer
We select the best individuals from an airport security team, and we train them to become trainers for new recruits, as well as existing personnel. A lot of attention is given to manual techniques, and little things such as using step stools to put a person being searched on a higher level, reducing the strain on the AVSEC team member, leading to greater alertness and reduced fatigue.
AVSEC Academy
We set up aviation security training academies, for knowledge transfer, and capacity building. An alarming trend in the industry, is that not many young people get jobs in AVSEC, for a wide variety of reasons – our goal is to change this, and to create the next generation of Aviation Security professionals.
